An interesting French-inspired but true to local roots menu. Stepping in we were greeted very kindly, exceptional relaxed service, our waiter had stellar recommendations for wine pairing and was accommodating at every step. The food was delicious, it’s our second time at this restaurant and both times we left impressed. The creme brulee was a standout as they add flambeed apples to the dish, significantly elevating the flavour of the creme which can be frankly heavy at times. The mains were also outstanding; interesting combination of ingredients and creative preparation. Well recommended.

Just had a lovely family meal for four, the food was delicious, they catered very well for my sons partner who is vegan. we each enjoyed 3 courses all different, beautifully presented and timed perfectly. The ambiance was lovely very French, The staff were all lovely and attentive but discreet. It is expensive but quality food and professional preparation costs more. My house red was lovely, and our coffee perfect. We will be back!

Not a big restaurant, but seating is spacious and comfy. Food is exceptional, and the menu seems to change daily and offers a large variety that should satisfy every taste. They also have specials each day. Not cheap. Looking at maybe 35 pounds for mains. But totally worth it. Service is quite efficient as well. Food quality is really good. If you are looking for a very nice meal without pretensions, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

This establishment is a hidden gem, we popped in for lunch around 1:45 on Saturday passed. It was like walking into a Parisian world of class. Anyways the food was outstanding and value for money, and I managed to thank the chef. What an experience.

Great food and service. Lovely, quaint local spot with attention to detail. Ask for Ellen!! Her knowledge is off the charts. If I owned this place I couldn’t pay her enough. She was attentive to everything going on the whole time we dined. The food was delicious as was the wine. Again, Ellen helped the wine pairing selections. The lamb and the terrine were very good. Photos don’t do justice. Cheers

I had a delightful meal here like a 2-3 months ago. The fish was perfectly cooked that had crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired beautifully with fresh greens and a buttery sauce that added just the right richness. The ambiance was classic and cozy, with a charming bistro feel. Bread was served warm to be appetizing. adding a nice touch to the experience. Highly recommended for a relaxed yet refined dining experience! Ps. Literally I didn’t expect much because I was followed my idol from Korean group that his name is Joshua from Seventeen to take a photo as him but everything is soooo good! I will be back!!!

We really enjoyed dining here: very cozy and familiar atmosphere, the waiters were all kind and the food was amazing. We ordered the soup, tarte tatin and the cod and the creme brulee, everything delicious! Also, they have a wonderful selection of wines. Truly recommended!

Like stepping back in time, this mesmerising restaurant is a rarity in today's challenging landscape of templated repetition. The atmosphere alone awards full marks, I could sit in here all day. Came early for dinner, was super quiet, enjoyed every moment and every morsel. Duck starter was delicious, but the mackerel pate was unparalleled. I just wish this was closer to where I live!
